My name is Cristina Hernandez and I am the Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist at Quality Speech Therapy Services, LLC.

I would like to take this opportunity to let you know a little bit about myself and what brought me to the field of speech-language pathology.

It was towards the end of my bachelors degree studies when I knew I wanted to pursue my career in the field of speech-language pathology. Shortly after, I was awarded my Masters degree from Nova Southeastern University on December 31, 2014.

After providing my services to other facilities (public schools, rehab hospitals, private clinics, Home Health, etc.) I decided to start my own therapy practice and without a doubt this has been the best decision I have ever made.  To know that I have the power to enhance the communication needs of certain individuals gives me great pride in what I do.  I strongly believe in building a strong bond with the individuals I serve.  Building a strong bond will enable my clients and myself to build trust which is essential for a successful therapy to take place.

You can trust that when I create an individualized treatment plan for my patients, I am thinking of every possible approach, and focusing on the most positive, encompassing methods that will benefit you and your loved ones. The issues that I deal with are issues that affect not only those who are diagnosed, but their families as well, and that is why I offer the services of screenings, education, consultation and advocacy to the family members of those we serve.

Providing speech and language therapy is a job that when carried out properly, has a positive impact on people’s lives, and I made a conscious decision to have that positive effect on the community I so proudly serve and am a part of.
